I used this exercise to explore how assailants of firearm homicide would behave differently if they could feel the pain of the victim? Compared to using a knife, using a gun allows assailants to feel less empathy and guilt towards the victim due to shooting from a distance.

However, in the future, what if the physical pain of the victim is reflected to assailants, as a punishment of shooting someone? The pain that assailants feel would be a psychological pain, and the only way to get rid of the pain is to take the special pill, which only certain people can provide such as polices or doctors. If someone used gun in a way to protect themselves, the pill will be provided right away. On the other hand, without a reasonable intention, you must pay for the misdeed by waiting a set amount of time to get the pill.
