Joe McLean has lived his whole life with guns, even using a rifle to successfully protect his home from a burglar. Yet, even he is moved by Obama’s speeches on guns and is in favor of gun control. He recognizes that it is simply a matter of keeping citizens of the United States safe, and that too many people just follow a skewed interpretation of the second amendment. He says a major hurdle in reaching useful legislation for gun control is the extremist leaders of the NRA effectively baring any new legislation to be passed at all.
